client to locate an exceptional: Senior Director, Global Staffing
Our California client is the world's leading software
and Service Company for the building, manufacturing, infrastructure,
wireless data services fields and media and entertainment fields.

Global revenue is distributed 40% Americas, 36% EMEA and 24% Asia
Pacific.
We are seeking an innovative, experienced and
results-driven leader to assess, execute and deliver in all areas
of Strategic Staffing & Sourcing, University Relations and Corporate
Employment Branding. This is a high-visibility position working
with senior management. The person will manage a global team of
30+ people who are responsible for attracting and hiring top talent
worldwide. The Sr. Director of Global Staffing will build relationships
with the company’s business leaders and be a key catalyst
in delivering staffing solutions to meet the company’s aggressive
business goals.
Responsibilities:
· Work with the executive management
team to design and implement highly effective, results-driven recruiting
strategies for global hiring. Champion the global hiring process
and ensure that the team is executing on recruiting strategies.
· Develop and implement strategic recruitment and employment
programs providing a diverse, high-quality and world-class candidate
pool and creating a talent pipeline to ensure success in meeting
the company’s hiring goals.
· Support the Employment Program Managers responsible for
employment programs such as University Programs, Relocation, Temp.
Staffing and EEO/Government compliance.· Involved in a variety
of planning and budgeting issues and, from time to time, may be
called upon by senior management to develop innovative recruiting
strategies for unique or emerging markets/categories.
· Identify and capture relevant recruitment performance metrics
and use the information to identify trends, drive change and assess
progress. Provide monthly reports to management regarding department
recruiting activities/performance and track performance.
· Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of the
company’s website that will be leveraged as a tool to educate
and attract talent to the company.
· Oversee relationships with external search firms to ensure
cost-effective, quality performance and reduce dependency and cost.
· Interact with all levels of staff across company lines
in a consulting/counseling role.
· Manage the global employment budget.
· Influence the organization with skill, grace and humor.
Pull people to agreement on a change initiative or process.
· Help drive strategic workforce assessment and talent planning.
THE PERSON:
The ideal individual for this position will be a proven, senior
business executive with an exceptional track record of driving revenue
and growth for premiere software products. Ideally her/his expertise
will include a combination of product management, product marketing
and business development experience and possess the following:
Requirements:
· 15+ years of HR experience including 10+ years of staffing/recruiting
experience.
· Must have global staffing experience. Proven ability to
develop, mentor and build a strong employment team of creative recruiters
to attract start talent.
· Prior experience at the Director or VP level
· Strong recruiting leader who has built teams in large,
high growth organizations, including remote locations.
· Demonstrated success in developing and implementing recruiting
and employment program strategies, policies and programs.
· Extensive knowledge of direct sourcing methods and building
passive candidate pools.
· Experience recruiting for and working with senior management.
· Experience creating and executing employment branding strategies.
· Demonstrated experience using metrics to manage the success
of employment outcomes.
· Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Must be
able to clearly articulate concepts and conduct presentations to
Sr. Management.
· Experience in automated recruiting tools and reporting
mechanisms.
· Have a point of view and be willing to express it.
· Creative problem solver and team player who thrives in
a collaborative environment.
· Up-to date knowledge of applicable global employment laws.
· BA/BS required. MBA preferred.
